Year 6 exciting homework development

As part of our preparation for high school we have decided to set some of our homework electronically this year, using the year 6 blog. Children will both access it and complete it using the internert. This will give provision for use of a much wider and more colourful range of resources. Any child who does not have internet access at home will be allowed to use the computers in school. There is also the computers Kippax library that they can use. Please contact me if you have any questions about this.

World War 2

This term we are embarking on one of our history topics, World War 2. As part of this work we will be looking at the Blitz and the impact this had on children (evacuation, rationing, use of air raid shelters and gas masks). Why not click here and try this activity all about bomb damage? Also the BBC website has some intersting activities that you might like to try. Click here to enter.
